My recent stay at Doge left me with mixed feelings regarding the balance between luxury and value. Though the welcoming staff, particularly Laura and Paola at reception, made me feel at home, the property's outdated decor and cramped rooms left much to be desired. However, the pool and beach club were enjoyable, especially for families. While the hotel offers amenities like bike rentals and a jacuzzi, which add value to the stay, the overall maintenance of the property could be improved. The free breakfast was adequate, and the convenient beach location was a definite plus.Although the hotel staff were friendly and accommodating, the lack of modern updates and limited room space might deter some guests looking for a more luxurious experience. The presence of essential amenities like air conditioning and free Wi-Fi in rooms helps make the stay comfortable, but the overall value proposition of the hotel could be better aligned.In conclusion, for travelers seeking a budget-friendly option near the beach with decent amenities and friendly service, Doge could be a suitable choice.
